The challenge

Sivakasi Cracker World sells crackers direct from Sivakasi at wholesale prices. Buyers want to browse a long range, see prices clearly, and order in bulk. Orders are confirmed by phone, because stock, transport charges and payment are agreed with each customer. The store needed a site that makes the range easy to browse and turns a shopper's choices into an order the team can act on.

What we built

TechieBall designed and built the whole site, from the storefront to the admin the team uses every day:

  • A catalogue of 157 products across 22 categories, including sparklers, flower pots, sky shots, bombs and gift boxes
  • A full price list and category pages, with best sellers and gift boxes on the home page
  • An estimate cart: customers pick crackers, send an estimate with their delivery address, and the shop calls to confirm stock, transport and payment. No payment is taken online
  • Order on WhatsApp buttons on products and offers
  • Minimum order rules shown up front (₹3,000 in Tamil Nadu, ₹5,000 for other states)
  • An admin where the team manages products, categories, vendors, estimates, vendor orders, blog posts and shop settings
  • Social share cards generated for each page

Technical approach

The site is a single Next.js 16 app (App Router) with React 19 and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS 4. Payload CMS runs inside the same app and provides the admin, the data model and the access rules, with PostgreSQL as the database.

Pages are cached and refreshed hourly, and immediately when the team saves a change in the admin, so prices stay current without a rebuild. The estimate cart uses server actions that always read prices from the database, never from the browser, so a customer cannot change a price. Images are served in AVIF and WebP through next/image.

The result

Customers can browse the full range, build an estimate and send it in a few steps, and the team gets the order with the details needed to call back. Prices and stock are managed in one admin, with no developer needed for day-to-day changes.
